The Rooms

The old Tuscan farmhouse dates from the early nineteenth century and is dominated by iron, stone, wood and earth. It was renovated with the most careful attention to the environment and eco-friendly techniques, using essential oils for paints and materials . The biomass heating system ensures zero emissions, and the water system uses collected water to flush the toilets. The five bright bedrooms, furnished in a rustic Tuscan style, are each able to accommodate up to three people and are equipped with all comforts. All the bathrooms are designed for intelligent consumption of water resources, and have a shower, bidet and hairdryer. The buildings have been built with the needs of people with different abilities in mind.

The communal areas

Living at Terre Brune is like living in close contact with a part of nature that is increasingly difficult to discover. It's an injection of a wholesome past into a world dedicated to the present. It’s how we would like the future for our children, simple and healthy. For this reason, Terre Brune offers large communal areas for socialising with a backdrop of crackling of wood in the fireplace, or for reading a book quietly on the veranda raising your eyes from the pages from time to time to watch the sunset. Terre Brune is a place of love, but also for families and friends, for those who love to discover new things and good food, philosophers and simple travellers. But most of all it is a blank canvas with the colours to paint a special moment in your life.

Services

Terre Brune offers an attentive, quick and non-intrusive service to put you at ease and make you feel good. Breakfast is included in your stay, and whenever the sun is shining its natural zero-kilometre products are served under the pergola. Don’t be afraid to ask if you have a special request: we will do our best to accommodate you as much as we can. All the bedrooms are non-smoking, and have private a bathroom with shower, bidet and hairdryer. The rooms are cleaned daily and towels are replaced every day if requested, while bed linen is changed every two days. Guests have access to the library as well as bicycles to move around in a more environmentally friendly way. Pets are welcome.

The Apartments

Adaptability is the word which best describes our apartments, Pero (Pear-Tree) and Roverella (Oak). Both are non-smoking and designed to comfortably accommodate six people in two double bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room, and the apartments have the potential to become one large house through communicating double doors. Equipped internally and externally to meet the needs of travellers, they offer a working fireplace, bright bathroom with shower and bidet, and a private outdoor area, fully furnished to enjoy the warmer seasons. The building that houses the two apartments is located in a quiet position with respect to the main building, and guests can enjoy all the services of the property.

Services

The apartments are self catering and are equipped with every comfort: individual heating, a working fireplace, hairdryer, and a separate fully-equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher and washing machine. The occupants will find the beds made on arrival as well as towels provided, a complete set of utensils and crockery, linen for the kitchen and our welcome kit. The outdoor area is furnished with table, chairs and gazebo for the exclusive use of the apartments, and guests have all the services of the property, such as the swimming pool and bicycles. For information about tours, rentals, activities and anything else necessary for a stress-free stay, the staff are at your disposal. Pets are welcome.
